Principal's Message

What an amazing Quarter 3! We have seen incredible work from our students and our staff for the last 129 days of school! There is more fun ahead as we plan for Quarter 4 and we appreciate your help in ensuring your students are ready to learn each day. We are looking forward to finishing strong this last week before Spring Break and we know the students are excited too.

Since the weather continues to change, we do ask for everyone's help to remember our SCPS Dress Code. Students should not be wearing hats and hoods of hoodies inside the building. We ask that students wear safe shoes to play in since they do have recess everyday (no sandals please)! Lastly, remember that small shoulder straps need to be covered with a jacket/sweater and students' body parts should be covered appropriately (no crop tops please)!

As always, please let us know if you have questions, feedback, or celebrations. We appreciate all of the support and we know we will continue strong as we achieve in Spring!

Pride Expectations

PRIDE Expectations with PBIS!

Layer is proud to be a PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Support) School! We expect all students to follow our PRIDE expectations so we can keep our school a happy and safe place for all students.

We appreciate family support as we link all behavior choices to our expectations across our campus with our continued Lucky Bucks and our consistent Behavior Alert system. Layer follows a Heirachy of Consequences in every classroom which can be viewed HERE.

HERE is the Seminole County Public Schools Student Code of Conduct. These are the expectations that all students follow to keep our school happy and safe.

HERE is the Seminole County Public Schools Dress Code. We ask that all students have appropriate clothing and safe shoes to play outside in each day. No flip-flops please!
