Principal's Message

We are thankful for our Layer families and community! Please enjoy the week with your family during the Thanksgiving season!

As we get ready for the next three weeks before winter break, we will continue to focus on student learning and engagement! We will be celebrating growth with the FAST Progress Monitoring 2 test for Grades K-5 and we will be preparing to end the second quarter! Please help your child to be present for these important weeks and review the testing schedule below!

We thank you for your continued encouragement and help to help students build confidence and competence as they move forward this year. As always, please let us know how we can support your family!

The Adventure Awaits!

PRIDE Expectations with PBIS!

Layer is proud to be a PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Support) School! We expect all students to follow our PRIDE expectations so we can keep our school a happy and safe place for all students.

We appreciate family support as we link all behavior choices to our expectations across our campus with our continued Lucky Bucks and our consistent Behavior Alert system. Layer follows a Heirachy of Consequences in every classroom which can be viewed HERE.

HERE is the Seminole County Public Schools Student Code of Conduct. These are the expectations that all students follow to keep our school happy and safe.
