Layer is so excited to bring back Chess Club this school year! Grades 1st -5th are invited to complete this form to show interest. Chess Club will meet before school every 1st & 3rd Friday beginning the month of December 2025 through May 2026 from 8:05-8:30a.m. 

If your child is interested in joining the Layer Chess Club, fill out the interest form below. Paper copies can be picked up outside Mrs. Wright's office. SPACE IS EXTREMELY LIMITED! All forms should be turned back in to Mrs. Wright by November 20th.

Our school is participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember where you can purchase keepsake products customized with your child's art! There are over 60 products to choose from that make great gifts for the holidays or any season. A percentage of every purchase goes right back to our school to help fund our Art and Music Departments! Click on the link below and enter the online order code shown on your child's order form or search for your child's artwork to go shopping! If you happen to miss the deadline, you can still place an order afterwards and ship directly to your home. You can also upload additional artwork and save it to your gallery so you'll have it for years to come!

We are seeking donations of "stuff" for our 5th graders to use to create a perfect vessel to bring their egg safely down to earth without breaking!
